The right protection starts with the job
Bring details of your tasks, noise measurements if available, and other PPE you wear. Kevin can discuss comfort, fit and product options alongside your employer’s noise assessment and hearing-protection requirements.
The highest rating is not automatically the best choice for every job. Selection must account for noise level, exposure time, communication and warning signals. Some tasks may require earmuffs as well as earplugs, according to the workplace assessment.
Custom earplugs are one part of noise control. They do not replace reducing noise at its source, safe work practices or workplace hearing monitoring. Check fit, condition and correct use regularly; do not assume alarms will remain audible.
