Careful positional assessment
BPPV is a common cause of brief spinning sensations triggered by movements such as rolling in bed, looking up or bending down. Kevin will discuss your symptoms and health history before carrying out positional tests when they are safe and appropriate.
Repositioning and the right next step
When findings are consistent with BPPV, a canalith repositioning procedure such as the Epley manoeuvre may be performed and home-care advice provided. Dizziness can have many causes; urgent or atypical symptoms require medical assessment, and Kevin will refer when appropriate.
