Microsuction for adults and children aged 2+
We use a microsuction procedure to safely remove earwax for individuals aged 2 and above. Kevin first examines the ear canal, explains the procedure and works carefully at a pace that feels comfortable for you or your child.
Before your appointment
If the wax is hard or impacted, softening drops may make removal easier. Please contact Kevin before using drops if you have ear pain, discharge, a known eardrum perforation or previous ear surgery. If microsuction is not suitable, Kevin will explain the safest next step.
